Soft Tissue Surgery
The phrase “Soft Tissue Surgery” encompasses a broad range of surgical services and includes anything from an abdominal exploratory or Caesarean section to a biopsy or lump removal.
Lumps and bumps are among the most common reasons people seek medical attention for their pets. Many lumps we encounter during our examinations are benign and will, for the most part, cause little more than minor local irritation or loss of cosmetic appearance, but telling which lumps and bumps are benign from those that are more serious isn’t always straight forward. It’s always best to not ignore that lump and have it checked out by your veterinarian. Frequently having them removed and or biopsied is the best and safest course of action. Remember, small lumps often become big lumps, and ignoring them won’t make them go away.
We do a wide variety of soft tissue surgery at Quail Crossing and Dr. Kimmel has 15+ years of experience doing it. We would be happy to give you an estimate and meet with you for a surgical consultation.
